XII NORDIC TAG IN OULU
The Nordic Theoretical Archaeology Group (NTAG) will be arranged at the University of Oulu, on 25-28 April 2012. NTAG is recurrent Scandinavian conference that focuses on debating central theoretical questions and perspectives within archaeology. The conference brings together archaeologists and archaeology students in all branches of the discipline at Scandinavian universities, museums and other institutions concerned with the study of past to discuss old and new theoretical approaches.
The University of Oulu is an international research and innovation university engaged in multidisciplinary basic research and academic education. The University encompasses eight fields of study: Humanities, Education, Economics and Business, Science, Medicine, Dentistry, Health Sciences, and Technology. The focus areas of research are Environment, Natural Resources and Materials, Biosciences and Health, Information Technology, and Cultural Identity and Interaction.
